The goal is to create a platform to discover, groom and to empower the Nigerian and young African women to become an entrepreneur, employer of labour, a role model by imbibing the culture of self-employment amongst young women in our communities.
Noting that the event is not a beauty pageant; a statement by the organizers explained that it is also not about shape or height, but It is an entrepreneurial contest for young African women who dream to own their own businesses.
Mr. Willie Workman-Oga, CEO, Entertainment Konzult Ltd owners of the trademark (MENA) explained that the initiative is to foster cultural gender integration in Africa, pointing out that contestants from all over Africa are expected to jostle for the crown while registration starts in January 20th 2013. .
The winner of the contest will go home with a cash prize of $12,000.00 as startup capital for her business, while the first and second runners up will be rewarded with $6,000.00 and $3,000.00 respectively. All the trio will equally undergo an entrepreneurial online course each in a world class school of entrepreneurial studies.
