BANK PHB is opening its doors to Nigerian Children across the country in the month of May. This is to celebrate the special place children hold in the lives of Nigerian families and inspire them to become great men and women in their life time.

BANK PHB is opening its doors to Nigerian Children across the country in the month of May. This is to celebrate the special place children hold in the lives of Nigerian families and inspire them to become great men and women in their life time.
And as part of the activities of the children banking month, Bank PHB is encouraging parents to bring their children into Bank PHB banking halls during the month. Every child coming into the bank during the month will be given a gift that includes a bar of chocolate, two sachets of Indomie Instant noodles, One Indomie branded exercise book and one Indomie branded wrist band.
There will also be a seminar in a selected school on banking as a profession. Activities for the Children’s month will be crowned with a children’s party in selected branches of Bank PHB on Children’s day (May 27), during which a special draw will be held for the winner of a N100,000.00 scholarship  for a phuture account holder.  
Already Bank PHB on Tuesday started a series of activities that will honour children throughout the month of May.
Children from five different schools were hosted at Bank PHB head office on Tuesday where they had an opportunity to meet and interact with top management of Bank PHB and also experience banking first hand.
Olu Akanmu, divisional director retail bank welcomed the children to the bank assuring them that Bank PHB has prepared a month of fun and excitement for them in May. “We are set to make sure you remember this children’s month always. We have lined up several exciting and educating moments for you as well as several bags of gifts to make sure you have a great month. We love you because you are our future” Olu Akanmu told the children visiting the bank’s head office.
Olu Akanmu educated the visiting children on the various aspects of banking and the critical role a bank plays in a nation’s economy. The children were very excited as he joined them in reciting the ever green children poem, “Old Roger died and gone to his grave uum aaa, gone to his grave…” They also asked questions on banking generally which he answered. He noted that while this program is targeted at celebrating and promoting the values of the Nigerian Child, it will also be an opportunity for more children to join the growing list of Bank PHB’s customers. 
During the visit the children were also taking round the various departments at the Head Office of Bank PHB visiting the financial Control Unit of the bank where they met with Chief Financial Officer Ugo Anyanwu, Marketing and Corporate Communications division as well as the Human Capital Management division of the bank.
