Revealed: The Greatest Secret of Making Money!

I wrote an article “BusinessWorld” in January 2009 and highlighted the need to start investing early in life as it is a miraculous key to great wealth. I gave the concept of compounding as one factor that enables the enormous accumulation of wealth. I also alerted readers that if you desire to become a millionaire in this lifetime, it is possible if you map out a strategy and stick to it. And over time, as the clock ticks, your goal of a millionaire, or even billionaire is achieved. There is a man who undertook an annuity plan in an insurance company for 20 years in the USA. Today, he is a multimillionaire in dollars. Here’s what he did to become it. The first day he landed into the US, he decided there and then that he was going to be a millionaire.

He began to seek out information that would enable him achieve this goal. He browsed financial publications, business books and the like. In the course of the search, he discovered a company called GE Financial and signed up as an annuitant. For those of you who do not know, GE Financial is the financial services arm of the company, General Electric, which the famous scientist Thomas Edison founded. He began to pay a fixed amount to the company and in 20 years, he qualified for a lump sum running into millions of dollars, He is a very wealthy man today. Maybe you do not like GE Financial. You can consider GEICO, an insurance company owned by the world’s richest man, Warren Buffett under the holding of his company, Berkshire Hathaway.

What I am trying to bring out is that you must have a purposeful heart that is drawn towards becoming ultra wealthy before you succeed. Here is an excerpt from the book, “The Billionaire Investor” which I co-authored about having the desire to get very wealthy being a necessary seed. On page 20 of the Chapter entitled “The Money Tree, the book states:“.. Prosperous people, and I know you will want to be one of them, or are already one, do not think of money as just mere money. The book continues: “If you grow your money tree, in a few short years, it will be full grown and majestic, growing right in the future dream home. Branches of your money tree spreads along the ceiling into every room of the house. every few feet or so is a nodule which pops open once or twice a day and releases the fruit of the tree.. i.e a fresh naira note or coin. These new notes then float down and land in the strategically positioned basket. All night, you hear “pop! |,”pop!| as the nodules open. It takes only a few minutes to collect the fruit in the morning 24hours a day, your money tree is producing fruit, even while you sleep. NO SEED! NO MONEY! NO PLANTING!NO GERMINATION!NO GROWTH!NO MATURITY!NO HARVEST!”
