The federal government in collaboration with Chinese Government and the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) has unveiled an agricultural programme for the South-South part of the country worth $14.5 million about (N2.850 billion).

THE European Union (EU) has again earmarked about N2 billion to six states that have demonstrated increased investment in water and sanitation sector.

SENATOR Sanusi Daggash, minister of works, has assured that the pace of work on the Abuja– Abaji–Lokoja road would be stepped-up with a view to complete it in December this year. Daggash, who spoke after inspecting the four sections of the dualisation project, disclosed that the ministry had agreed with the contractors on the deadline for the project.

JOHN Odey, minister of environment, has warned contractors handling ecological fund projects in various parts of the country, demanding that all jobs given to the respective contractors are expected to be executed within the stipulated period.
